My Surrender

$3,000.00

I have lived a life filled with anxiety. I’ve been so anxious that at 2 AM my racing heart has woken me and I had to climb out of bed, get an ice pack and press it to my chest to calm myself back to sleep (fun fact for my other anxious friends—doing so calms your vagus nerve and can actually help you fall back to sleep). There’s no singular thing that makes me especially anxious; it’s just the act of living. I was thinking about my anxious thinking one night (I become exhaustingly philosophical right before bed) and asked myself, “What would happen if I let go of all of my fear? What would a life lived without fear feel like?” I could be like her, trusting the sky to catch me.

Details:

This 48x60” painting is painted with high-quality professional oil paints and is available unframed or framed.
